Hi guys

A mate currently have 2 x 512MB (PC3200) Generic RAM

If he was to buy the same again or buy 2 x 1GB (Generic) PC3200 RAM.

Would there be any performance differences?

He won't buy decent RAM as he is a noob. So please DO NOT troll him about it.

Just give me an answer pls.

The performance increase would be about 3% by having 2x1gbs over 4x512 providing your running an A64 system. So you would not really see it!

Because they will be running at 1T command rate as opposed to 2T.
