At the mo I have 2 x 1Gb OCZ OCZ2P800R22GK and will up this to 4 x 1Gb of OCZ OCZ2P800R22GK. Going to Vista x64

In order to run the 2 x 1Gb sticks I had to up the voltage from the default 1.8v to 2v.

Someone has suggested that if I run 4 sticks, I should also up the vMCH, but doesn't know to what figure.

My question is:
Is it necessary, and if so what would you suggest? I'm assuming that the vMCH is a value in NB Vcore.

TIA

did you test it already ?

No, haven't got the memory yet (on order), just wondering if it would be necessary.

Is there anyway of telling what these auto figures for vMCH are ?

Also wondering if there is any one else with a similar set-up, what settings they are/were running.

But I suppose I should suck it and see.

i've built a system with 4 x 1GB sticks of the OCZ 6400 plat (rev2)

what is the default voltage that they tell the BIOS to run them at? what voltage should i run them at for stability (they're not quite stable)

If they're not stable at the same settings as 2x1gb then just up the vMCH one notch at a time til they are.
