2 x 7200rpm Raid 0 or 1 x 10,000 Drive.

Can anyone tel me which would be the quickest drive out of the above in general terms.It would be mostly used for gaming.I'm aware of the risks using two drives in raid0 and would have another backup drive to copy the important stuff onto.
 
The 2x 7200 drives would be faster as in MB/Sec but seeks are slower on any 7200 HDD than on Raptors and as you Raid0 them you add seeks together so the 2x 7200 HDD would seek even slower.

I have 2 x 320GB Seagate 7200.10s in RAID0 the Access (seek) time is just over 13ms....exactly the same as when each is run as a single HDD (IDE mode)...ie which also is just over 13ms..

However, as already said the Average read of a RAID set up (2 x HDDs) will be considerably faster....:)
