2 x GTX570's dead? **Video inside**

Not tried games on the new windows install as all my games are on steam which means I have to download them... and my internet is full of fail.

I tried Unigene heaven and that unigene tropics benchmark aswell as MSI kombuster, and 3DMark11 and Vantage. Same results eventually, sometimes it'll last for a few minutes, most of the time it'll loose signal almost instantly.

Seems like its the monitor, I've tested both cards on their own and they've been fine, now testing SLI and thats working fine, although I still have to boot from the second card to be able to enable SLI.... Probably a mobo fault.

Anyway more testing needed, but its looking like the monitor was the problem.

Its's definitely your monitor. I had exactly the same problem with my DGM 24" monitor when I upgraded to the GTX480s. Bought a new monitor and it was fine. I gave the old one to my parents and they haven't had any issues with it so it must be something to do with the combination of devices that doesn't work.

I hate to say i told you so but ..... Well I did :D ;)

My way of verifying the integrity of graphics cards, is to:

a) run Unigine Heaven Benchmark and keep it looping for a whole night. If no crash happened, good sign.

b) run one instance of GPU client of Folding@home on each graphics card for a whole night. If no error ever happens, good sign.
