Hi Everyone!

I'm using a 19" Non Widescreen LCD @ 1280x1024 at the moment, I'm looking for a 20-22" monitor (unfortunately my budget can't stretch to 24" yet)

It's going to be used for programming (VS), BUT I also do some web-work so it's quite important I have reasonable colour reproduction (I don't want clients complaining that the colours are wrong).

I was almost decided on the Dell 2007WFP because:

+ True 8-bit panel
+ Good viewing angles
+ Can go into portrait
+ Looks great and has lots of adjustments height etc.

Since I'm going to be using it in a dual setup with the 19" though do you think the 19" being taller and the 20.1" having a smaller dot pitch be a problem? (I don't have the best eyes :p). The 22" are supposedly the same height as the 19" but the 6-bit TN panel, bad viewing angles and the fact that most 22" monitors don't have much adjustments is slightly off-putting. I saw my friends Samsung 226BW and I didn't really like it.

Does anyone have any pics of a 20.1" (ws) next to a 19" (non ws) or use a setup similar to this... or anyone with slightly below average eyesight use the 2007WFP, is the text to small? I'd be interested in hearing any opinions.

Thanks in advance :)

res on a 20.1 is comparable to that of a 17" standard, its only slightly higher. Unless your eyesight is truly shocking then get a 2007WFP it sounds ideal.

Thanks, I'm now not concerned about the text-size anymore.

I'd still be interested if somebody any pictures of these two types of monitor (20.1" WS, 19" Non-WS) together in dual screen, I can't seem to find any pictures anywhere to check how much taller the 19" would be.
