20 Seasons of the Premier League

Surely Warren Barton as best RB.

Yeboah's goal vs Wimbledon was better than the one on there. And how about Trevor Sinclair's overhead from outside the box?

Was thinking about the Trevor Sinclair goal, but for some reason I thought it might have been in the FA Cup though. Got to disagree with you on Yeboah though, I reckon that goal against Liverpool is the best Premier League goal in my opinion :)

I do remember Rod Wallace dribbling pretty much the entire length of pitch and curling one in the far corner against Spurs. And then there was Jeremy Goss' goal against Leeds

As an overall goal, Yeboah's vs Wimbledon was better but you'd be hard pushed to find a better strike of the ball than his goal vs Liverpool.

As for this whole vote, all these things are **** because no single person (or even group of people) are going to remember every player, goal, celebration etc.

-----------Schmeichel----------

Neville--Ferdinand--Vidic--A.Cole

Ronaldo--Keane--Scholes--Giggs

---------Shearer--Henry--------

I did try to be completely unbiased, probably fair to say I failed.

Match - The only acceptable reasons I see for picking anything other than Liverpool v Newcastle are you either didn't see the game, or weren't following football at the time. It's the closest thing to a dead cert in this whole thing.

Goal - Still have a soft spot for Yeboah's strike, even though it's been bettered technically. These lists are always strange because of all the goals that don't make the cut, I don't see how Cantona's strike is special in a way that this isn't -

Save - As much as I rate Schmeichel's save v Newcastle (both for quality and importance) I went for Craig Gordon as it's a rare example of a point blank save that didn't involve simply being in the way of the ball.

Celebration - Fergie & Brian Kidd (showing my bias again with this one).

Match Liverpool 4 - 3 Newcastle

Goal - Eric vs Sunderland (Although Bergkamps against Newcastle is my 2nd favourite, still can't work out how he did it)

Celebration - Jimmy Bullard

Save - Joe Hart vs Liverpool (Can't understand the two Schmeichel one's in there. His famous one against Spurs was much better)

Team

Yeah, I thought it was about the best, not who has played the longest

I assume by that then you feel Giggs has never been up to the standard that Pires showed for those 3/4 years then?

EDIT: for the record I couldn't disagree with anyone putting Pires in their team, he was a brilliant player in his prime

No, not saying that, I haven't watched all of Giggs' season obviously so I couldn't. I just remember watching Pires for that period and having my mind blown, so it just surprises me there isn't more love, I don't expect every person in the thread to put Pires in their team
