Hi all,

Looking for advice on a build with a budget of £2000. Won't really be used for anything other than playing games

I need pretty much everything! Only thing i have is a headset, so will need a Monitor, Mouse & Keyboard included within the budget

Focus on competitive FPS games (PUBG, BFV, APEX etc) I play other games too, but will take a hit on other types of games (if necessary) to get the best setup for FPS games

Definitely not building it myself (no time/ability), so if anyone knows (roughly) how much OCUK charge to assemble too that would be much appreciated

Any builds/advice would be greatly appreciated!!

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,952.99 (includes shipping: £28.02)

3 free games

would ask PSU to be upgraded to Formula 750w though...

review on one of the free games that comes with, vega 64 does well, along with ryzen 8 core

apex, Vega 64 would be slightl above gtx 2060

BFV vega 64 beating or equalling RTX 2070

ITX + rtx 2070 + g-sync 1440p 164hz - would cost about £80-120 for OCUK to build and with warranty cover

Pick a monitor you like - I would suggest the Acer Nitro 4K - and build around that. Note that you don't have the budget to play modern games at full whack 4K but a GTX 1660 Ti will do you fine for playing modern games at 1080p at 120+ Hz, and you will be able to play older games at 4k at 120 Hz. And when you upgrade your GPU the monitor will take advantage.
