2010 Game of the Year

Surely when there is a shortlist it's because the entrants have already gone through a process to narrow down the contenders?

Is there any logic to this list other than the OP has decided these are the games we can choose from? :p

But anyway, I've played and enjoyed most off that list, gonna have to go with my gut feeling though and pick Darksiders as my favourite game from 2010.
 
From that list, Mass Effect 2 for Single Player, HALO Reach for Multiplayer.

Out of all of them there is only one i have completed... Heavy Rain. Even though i own them all...

I would say... for story, immersive gameplay and simply WOW factor it has to be Heavy Rain.

If im talking fun and replayability and the fact you will never get me off it... Call of Dtuy Black Ops

If we are talking graphics then its a toughy as GoW3, Mass Effect 2 & Bioshock all are very nice visually.

I have just got GT5 after waiting 5 long years for it. An it is by no means game of the year and never will be. It feels unfinished, slow and the gameplay is so unpredictable.

If those are the only games in the running then I vote Mass Effect 2. Some cracking games this year not included on that list.

I loved this game, however, yet to complete it still lol.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (X-Box 360/PS3)

Beyond love the BF games, loved BC1 and loved this even more, easily my fave game of 2010 without a doubt.

Red Dead Redemption (X-Box 360/PS3)

Fantastic engine and game, great voice acting, great free roam... What's not to love. Hitch up on a horse, gun down some bandits, take over a fort and watch a film all in one day!

Halo: Reach (X-Box 360)

Always good seeing another Halo SP

Medal of Honor (X-Box 360/PS3)

Really liking the single player tbh...

Call of Duty: Black Ops (X-Box 360/PS3)

First COD I have ever enjoyed online, can't say much for the SP though, too fast paced, yet again... Shame, nothing will ever contend against MW1

Not to mention, Dragon age Origins... I know it should be played on the PC, but it is still a bloody fantastic game, Bioware deliver time and time again.

Mass effect 2 is the only game I can think of. : \

Although I loved it, its a shame theres no close competition this year. ofcourse thats a matter of opinion though
 
If I must choose one from that list then Mass Effect 2 or Bad Company 2.

But to choose from my favorite games this year, Then it would definitely be Alan Wake or F12010.
