2014 World Snooker Championship

Anyone see the interview with ronnie ? Seems like when his shrink turned up his genius turned up

He was saying he had given him the week off thinking that he wouldn't need him till next week but then with things going a bit wrong he came down today

I noticed that too. I must say that Ronnie is so much more cool now within himself. He's playing great snooker and he's quit the whinging in interviews and sounds really positive. He's like a different person from what he was a couple of years ago. I think this tournament is either his or Neil Robertson's. Nobody else is even close.

Bit odd to see McManus opting to have a few practise shots when the frame was lost against Doherty. That match really does highlight how tough it is to play snooker at the level most of the pros do.

let's see if neil robertson can knock in a few centuries today to make 100 for the season. he's on 97 and considering the previous record is 61, that's pretty damn impressive. :)

Not looked at the route to the final but would love to see a Robertson/Sullivan final with them both on top form or another trump/ Sullivan final as the last one didn't live up to expectations

Steve Peters is one hell of a guy. He's been working with Liverpool as well, he seems to be able to get people into the perfect mental state to allow them to just do what they have to to win. He's the sort of person that deserves a SPOTY award tbh, the work he does is immeasurable.

this is awful from murphy. so many chances and he's throwing them all away.

edit: just when you think murphy is going to win a frame, he throws it down the toilet yet again. :D

dominic dale was 11-5 down overnight but has won 7 frames on the trot to go 12-11 ahead. well done that man but i suppose it doesn't mean anything unless he finishes the job. :)

well roberston finally got his 100th century last night - some achievement. also he won won his match from 11-8 down by winning 5 frames in a row. not bad. :p

i hope he smashes selby in the semis because i can't stand him. and you'd expect ronnie to get by barry hawkins to set up the final most would have predicted. he'll have to play better though. he won't be able to give hawkins the chances that he gave murphy and get away with it.

^^ This. I'm hoping for an O'Sullivan - Robertson final as these are my two favourite players. I'd like to see Ronnie edge it giving him 6 World Titles, tying him with Steve Davis and only one behind Stephen Hendry.
