Even without the magic 200bhp headline it still sounds like it's going to be a very nice track weapon.

According to the 44teeth article it's 189bhp (+11bhp) so my take on that is one of the versions they are bringing out is running a full on 200bhp. Probably the SP2.

Same power output for the RR,SP and SP2 apparently.

But won't all these 180bhp+ bikes be limited to 299kph anyway? Or has that gone out the window now?

Well the speedo goes upto 299kph, but the tachometer keeps rising, only by what I've seen on YouTube officer ;)

If these manufacturers don't bring at least 200bhp to the table then the race teams will turn to someone who will. I'm talking about the TT for starters (let alone WSB/BSB), John McGuinness will be v happy about the new 'Blade.

Is that a Silencer and Cat all in one? must be to be that big...
so why not do it separate and make it smaller, seriously how do engineers and designers come out with something like this.

Also if I was doing a Suzuki promotional video, I would show the bike from the left side only :D

It's not just down to emissions, sound levels are also much more tightly controlled with a new test as part of Euro4 regs so that'll play a part in them putting massive hideous end cans on.
