Hi
I use the monitor all day every day, sometimes (more often than I like to think) up to 12 hours a day. Most of this time is spent with emails, using word and other specialist software like Trados and browsing the internet for research purposes.
I need to have a good monitor that rests my eyes if possible, not sure what I mean by that exactly but I think some monitors strain your eyes a little by maybe being too sharp or too bright or whatever.
The monitor also needs to be good for gaming and watching films and maybe have hdmi compatibility for when I buy a x360 or ps3.
Would the lower cost monitors be ok for this or is a better quality display a must even for word processing?
