It's -23 degrees C right now and the doors of my truck are completely frozen shut.

Tried the old trick of pouring hot water from the kettle on it but it froze to ice instantly and now it's even worse doh.

Any suggestions?

salt? or an iron? - get an extension cord and put your iron near the ice or steam it with the iron. also where are you that it's that cold? :O

Salt, but make sure you wash it off properly afterwards.

(Gishee, whereabouts in Dunstable are you? I grew up there!)

Move somewhere warmer, -23C! brrrrrrrr

I doubt many people will have much advice here on a UK forum where we dont really see hugely negative temperatures, for us standard de-icer would be the answer but i dont even think that works that low?

Pee on it.

Would you be wanting to get "it" out in -23c?!:p

I didn't think you could use de-icer on paintwork as it damages it?

Man up and use more hot water until the hot water wins.. or short your battery through the affected area. :D

Although the hair dryer's really the best plan so far.
