24 - is this the last season?

Hey,

Pretty much title. I was just wondering if this is the final season they are intending of making of 24, or if another was being planned after this one had finished.
 
And the creators have said that as long as the fans want it, they will keep writing it.

EDIT - Though just how many bad days one guy can I have before topping himself, I don't know!
 
Whats interesting is that it focuses on one day out of his life rather than an entire year like most shows. I think that works as part of 24's success. I feel far more interested because they give a back story of how he has lived for the past few years after the events of the previous day and then we go on to something new but his back story still somewhat applies.

Really enjoyable show. To think I didnt start watching till the 4th season.
 
I think they can make it sucessful for another 3 season's.

The film will be a bit weird tho, considering the will intend to pack 24 hours into 2 :/

Look at things like the CSI, Law and Order, X-Files, Charmed, Stargate etc which are still doing incredibly well for long running shows.
 
no theres 2/3 more seasons

the rubbish film is the sentinal or something, basically it sucks (says everyone havent seen it yet)
 
24 is damn cool!

I only started watching it 6 months ago, and I'v caught upto the present Episodes/S5.

It's TV at it's best imo! I urge anyone who hasn't seen it to watch it!

I'm looking forward to that tonight. The man is a legend in my eyes. I wasn't his biggest fan before 24 but he's made himself into an icon now.

So stop watching it - I always wonder why people use this as a reason why they should stop making something.

If it starts to get dragged out and dull, switch it off - that way everyone can have exactly as much 24 as they want and not have it cut short becuase other people think it gets dragged out :D

Same with me, after a few of my mates rambling on about it...i thought id have a look...so i caught the end of last season and it just got me hooked so went out and bought the previous 3 seasons on dvd:p
 
without doubt the best program EVER made!
Why cant we make shows like that over here? Nothing comes close....24 rocks!
 
He's signed up for three more seasons and a movie is in the works :cool: :D Very big fan of the show totally hooked

He's a major Director, so you'd want to hope he's in it. Although recently, he was witnessed as saying that there would be major character reshuffles (including him).

Can another 3 series' be better than the current (or S4)?

Its going to be hard!

Plus a movie in a few years time! (wonder if it will be 24 hours long!)
