You can but I wouldn't advise it simply because if you love the show you'll want to watch the other 5 seasons without knowing who is still around!

Try out season 1 on dvd which can be had for under 20!

Jack's transformation from tramp was incredibly quick! :D It takes me a good 30 mins to get shaved, dump, shower etc... and he should probably have wanted a Big Mac or something (don't suppose the Chinese fed him on the plane). Still, gotta love it...

but u can buy the first 4 eps from hmv, fox did a special preview version to promote the new series.

My predictions:

Wayne Palmers sister really DID have something to hide when she deleted those files.

The Presidents new advisor is just misguided I don't think hes corrupt.

I agree with Shvankin about Jack making a wrong decision down the line.

The Bluetouth gang will be back later on.

Chloes ex husband is corrupt.

I thought the same about WP sister as well, but to put another twist on it, it may be her assistant/lover who is bad, and she found out, and he is blackmailing her, you have to think complicated with 24 ;)

I agree with the advisor, I just think he has his own agenda, trying to make Palmer look bad so he can have the Oval Office.

Hope the "blootooth" gang are back, also be interesting to see how Characters got together and WP getting into office.

Of course, he has a beard, all badies have beards :D

Yeah I was sure he had some agenda when he opened that sat com (knowing it would alert everyone). Maybe he has some bigger reason for wanting Jack alive than just for Chloes sake.

No doubt there will be a big mid season twist that will turn the whole thing around as always happens in 24!
 
And I think it's obvious that Ashad (the main baddy) may not be the head honcho in charge of the attacks, there will probably be someone higher up, unusual for 24 to give you the enemies straight off, unless the other guy Jack rescued is still fighting his cause... and is in charge...

Yeah I think the terrorists will be getting played by someone. Hey thinking about it maybe the Chinese in order to find out/get something from Jack Bauer that they couldn't get through torture?
 
I never thought that Palmer's sister was hiding something, pretty obvious now you think of it though.

I also want to know what the Chinese get for Jack, any thoughts?

I like that idea, it'd make the preview much more relevant.
