I bought one of those plastic Holga lenses off eBay for a tenner. Photography was rubbish but you can get some interesting effects filming video with them.
My advice would be save the money and put it towards a lensbaby tilt transformer :D

Anyone tried any of these daft little lenses? Were they fun to use?

Isn't the image circle on these too small for micro 4/3rds? I thought that was one of the things brought up on the nikon 1 release, the image circle fits them perfectly.

^ It's not that bad and the vignetting seems quite nice.

I'm always impressed by pics on c mount/m43 flickr group http://www.flickr.com/groups/c-mount_/

Chucked a Diana+ lens on my GF1 a while ago, that was quite fun :p (most of the good c mount lenses are too expensive for me :()

There are C-mount lenses and there are c-mount lenses. Some are plastic toys, some are fairly decent, some are Hollywood grade cinematic lenses for 16mm film productions that costs thousands.

The good lenses are very good and as mentioned above, will perfectly cover theNikon CX format.

Yes most of the ones on ebay seem to be the cheap plastic ones. Would be nice to find a semi-decent 35mm...
