Hello guys, I am looking for a 27" 1440p 144hz+ monitor and dont know between which to choose really. Heard good things about LG27850B but I am little worried about the stand getting in the way, Asus VG27AQ and also Dell S2719DGF.

I am currently playing on BenQ XL2720Z so its already 144hz and I would like to go up to 240hz but there is not much to choose really and I was thinking to get a good 1440p 144hz for the time being as I think that playing RDR2, Cyberpunk 2077 and rest of good looking games on 1080p 27" is wasting its potential and upgrade to 240hz 1440p maybe in a year or two.

I am waiting for i9 10900k + RTX 3080, should be with me within 7 day, so thats the other reason why I think it would be an overkill to play in 1080p.

I am also playing lots of CSGO and LOL so dont really know how IPS panels looks these days, I got that BenQ years ago because heard that TN panels are better for fps gamings.

Do you guys think its worth getting a 1440p? Never seen this res with my eyes so cant compare it to 1080p and ofcouse which one would you choose

27 inch 1440p is the sweetspot, i can imagine how pixelated 1080p 27 inch must look...

As for the monitors, the Dell you mentioned is the best bet but there aren't any deliveries coming yet. Check out the dell thread in this subforum, people been waiting months...

I would like to get monitor before C2077 release, so would prefer to go for another one if its available.
How about LG 27850B or that Asus is it close with quality to Dell?

I bought and currently use a new LG 27GL850-B and it's great. Not a single fault or complaint and the Rtings review is about right. I don't know if this is me getting lucky with the panel or if the quality is generally good, though.

The panel itself is the same as in the Dell, it's just the Dell monitor has a higher refresh and better ergonomics.
