Hello guys. First of all I'm totally ignorant regarding HDTVs so I'm hoping I can get your advise on this. I'm looking for a low end HDTV for around £300-350.

The two that caught my attention were a Hannspree 28" 1080p and OcUK's Digimate 32" 720p.

To be frank, 32" is the perfect size for the room I have in mind, so 28" will be kind of a compromise. Hence my dilema...

After googling around I found an article stating (in a nutshell) that 1080p is wasted on a "small" 32". I went to a highstreet store and browsed a few 32" HDTVs and indeed with my (untrained, I must admit) eye I didn't notice the difference. On the other hand the difference in size between the 28" and the 32" was rather obvious.

So I'm hoping you guys might be able to offer some advise or opinions, and perhaps shed some light on other factors you would consider.

Cheers guys. I've just found the Samsung LE32A436T1D 32" at £309, so I'm gonna go for this.

Thanks again for the advise :)
