since you seem to care not about money of performance, give me your GTXs :D

you are insane mate if you want to swap 2 8800 GTXs for 2900 XTs

Does seem a little unwise unless he has a bumper deal on MM for thos 2 GTX's to offset the overall cost. I can understand if its going to cost £20-30 overall for the change because its always great to play with the latest hardware.

But its so not a good move, sure it will allow him to play with the latest hardware, but what about when he wants to play the latest games are super high res and its lagging behind the GTX SLi by quite abit?

lol i dont think you would notice the difference in frame rates tbh, unless you ran fraps all the time.

its like me using 2 ultras, then changing to 2 gtx's. i wouldnt notice the difference, other than the change from black pcb's to red pcb's

freeking strange it says hd2900xtx crossfire as there no such thing yet  smells of fake

The HD2900XT 1GB litrally is the XTX, its all an XTX would be so people can call it an XTX as its an overpriced version of the 512mb XT.

I dont know why everyone argues in the first place, I'm a total ATI fan always usually go for them.

Fact is the 8800 series are far better in performance, so if you need a card & you want the very best right now buy Nvidia & thats coming from someone who always usually buys ATI.

My problem is I play original EverQuest all the time & it has a big problem with 8800 series drivers when doing Expeditions, so I'm mulling over having to resort back to an X1950XT Extreme gutted but its the best card for that game unfortunutly in terms of working properly. :(

Swap Nvidia's driver team with ATI's & Nvidia would have the quest for the holy grail fulfilled. :D
