Just installed my 2nd hand card, bought from MM, was trying it out on ET when i got a vpu recovery, using cat 7.6, is this normal?

2900xt vpu recovery

Can anyone help with this, i keep getting VPU recovery in only 1 game, it works fine in every other game i play, i never had this problem with my x1900xtx and that used to run very hot.

Yea its an OpenGl bug I get random VPU recovers in Quake 4 and Doom 3, Submit it via the link in my sig

the thing is Tom i havent had it in ET:QW only ET and both are opengl

i submited a ticket to ATI earlier and they didnt mention the bug but tried to say i didnt have it seated properly or my psu wasnt powerful enough.

only happens in that 1 game, Enemy Territory, the free fps game
