295gtx upgrade for 580+295 for physx

using two monitors is not going to put a strain on the GPU when only one is running the game so you needn't take that into consideration.

Depending on the price u can get for the 295 it would probably be worth selling it now while it still has value. Also, having a 580 AND a 295 in ur system is going to create a lot of heat, need a lot of power and use more electricity. In ur shoes I'd sell the 295, get the 580 and if I wasnt happy with it's physx capability after a month then i'd get a 450/460 but i doubt i'd care that much about physx tbh, but it mostly depends what resolution ur gaming at!
 
i'd sell it whilst it still has value. If you are THAT keen on a physx card, get a used 8800gts 640mb for max £30 on everyones favourite auction site.

I got one for my PC for only £9! And it works great :)
 
Sell GTX295, and use only one GTX580, or put GTX295 to second PC, sell one 8800 ultra and if you are that hungry, put spare Ultra with GTX580...but as said many times here-GTX580 more thn enough for any game + Physix
