2GB Decent RAM or 4GB Hlaf Decent RAM???

I currently have 4GB Geil DDR2 PC5300 and was wondering if I would be better off with some decent 2GB PC6400 or PC8000 RAM??
As an extra question is anyone using the Gigabyte 965P-DS3 with any DDR2 PC8000 RAM. I've checked the Gigabyte compatability sheet but there isn't any PC8000 RAM on there.
But it does state at the top:
"Memory modules listed below are for reference only. Due to massive memory modules on the market, we can only verify some of them."

Virtually all memory works in the DS3 these days. Certainly with a recent BIOS.

And a lot of us are running a DS3 with memory speeds in excess of pc8000 speeds.

No way, don't bother.

Assuming you are talking about getting rid of 2Gb of your RAM in favour of 2Gb of faster RAM, then no ******* way José. That would be like going out and drinking a shot of vodka instead of ten pints of beer.
