Hi All,
I have been looking into getting a gaming PC for a while now and was originally considering building one from scratch. However a friend of mine is selling is gaming PC which i am considering purchasing.
I'm not a huge gamer but there are a few titles i'd like to play (appreciate this gaming PC might not be able to play them all though! Wukong?) as well as wanting to play some older titles i missed out on like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Elden Ring. Other than that it will be used for work e-mails, large spreadsheets, web browsing, etc.
The spec is as follows;
Fractal Mechify C - Case
RTX 2080 Super
x 2 8gb Corsair Vengeance Pro
MSI B550 Motherboard
Samsung 870 QVO 1TB SSD
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500gb M.2 SSD
Scythe Mugen 5 CPU Cooler
Ryzen 5700X
Corsair RM750 Power Supply
Windows 10
My questions i guess are, being that some of these parts are quite old now how future proof is it? Will i end up needing a new motherboard if i want to upgrade this further down the line and therefore all new parts? Could you give some examples of what level of games this could play, and what it would struggle with?
And finally, if i am allowed to ask on this post, what do you think a fair rough value would be?
Thanks in advance!
