Hi, I have this memory running at 867mhz with timings 5-5-5-18 2T

Will this ram usually run ok at around 900mhz at these timings?

Its stable at the moment (867mhz)

400/800 should run at 4-4-4-12
533/1066 should run at 5-5-5-15

Yes I know that, but Ive overclocked my cpu's fsb and the memorys now running at 867mhz. the motherboard has set the timings to 5-5-5-18 auto.

when ive finished overclocking the cpu the ram will be running at around 900mhz instead of the 800mhz it should be running at.

What i want to ask is will this memory run ok at 900mhz at 5-5-5-18? Ive heard its best to slacken the timings anyway if u run ** ram faster than it should be (4-4-4-12) otherwise the memory might fail.

Ps since the memorys clock speed has increased its vista score has gone up to 5.9, so i dont really want to decrease it back down to 800mhz if i can help it.

I'll give it a go.

What would normally give the best performance... 800mhz @ 4-4-4-12 or 900mhz @ 5-5-5-18?

The C2D seems to like FSB more, so 900

Yeah. Am guessing you are running a divider? Try and run it at (1:1)
