2x Spinpoint F3's Raid 0 Performance

These are my ATTO figures. First is my OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB, then 2x Samsung F3 1TB in RAID0 and then 1x Samsung F3 1TB by itself. Pretty happy all in all.

Was writeback something new in ICHR10? Previous intel controlled raids were very poor (abysmal write speeds which write back should help).
Is the writeback backed up anywhere by a battery/capacitor? You'll have problems with data on power loss if not.
