SM 2.0 Score - 1527

HDR/SM 3.0 Score - 1304

CPU Score - 1586

Can anyone tell me what exactly this means because I dont have a clue unfortunately  :(

Sounds very low :( my 7800GTX 256mb, which should give simular or a little less speed than your sli setup, gives a higher score than that.

Sounds like the sli isn't working or you need better drivers.

How do I know if Im using both cards? Ive set the bridge up and everything and even flipped the switch on the mobo so that it knows there are 2 cards in there

Dude that sounds odd. I use the 7800 gt and I get about 4500 with it. I think you should be getting in the region of 8-9k with a sli setup of 7800gt.

Go into nvidia control panel and check the setting is correct for multi gpu's.

Have you looked in the bios? I am not sure if that would help. What nforce drivers are you using?

Are both cards rated at the same speed? Try swapping them around, see if that helps.

just to keep expectations in check, you shouldn't be getting anywhere near 8 or 9k on 06 with 7800gt sli.. with a phase cooled x2 3800 at 3ghz and 2 heavily clocked watercoole 7800GTXs I was pulling 8500 on a suicide run with a fair few tweaks.

Still, have a dig around in the bios, with my old dfi expert you needed to set the pci-e lanes in the bios to enable sli.

I just checked some labels on each of the cards. They are both using the same Bios but the one I purchased recently has a more older version of it.

Funny thing is, I removed the recently purchasec card and then reinserted it. After rebooting the PC the card was detected and is now working in Multi-GPU

I suppose with a decent duel core processor (better than your current one)and a fair overclock on the cards you should be aiming at 6-7k.

You're deffinately not using both cards at the moment though. 3.5k or so is bang on for a single card and a medium dual core cpu.

Does rerunning 3dmark06 give better results now?

Got even less this time - 3513. Am I doing something wrong?

Clearly your SLi isn't working. Go to the nvidia control panal and within the 'SLi Multi-GPU' tab you should see an option to show card balancing. Press this button and do the test again. If you see a green bar growing and shrinking as the test runs it means both cards are working.

Also go to the 'Performance & Quality' settings and make sure every optimisation is on and the Image settings slider in all the way to 'High performance'. Finally check the 'Sli rendering mode' (still in Performance and Quality) and make sure it's on either Alternate Frame or Split Frame mode and not on Single-GPU.

It might be a more technical problem invloving your BIOS or motherboard, but give this a shot first and see how it goes.

Ive changed the SLI rendering to SLI multi-GPU rendering. This was the third option out of SLI single GPU rendering and SLI antialiasing.

Should I also turn on/tweak the following -

Vertical Sync
Extension Limit
Gamma Correct antialiasing
Transparency antialiasing
Triple buffering

My AA and AF have got the marker as far to the right as possible. Should I set this back to off?
