3 Contract help

Hi all, sorry if this has already been posted but wanted general advise

Got 2 k800i from phones 4 u, £45 half price line rental for 6months
on an 18th month contract

so paying 22.50 on each phone.

Was told buy P4U that after 6months can drop the contract down to what ever I want.

Now been told by 3 that I can only change it after, 9 months and even then only by 1 level and have to pay £25 per downgrade per phone.

Any one had this or know if I can get myself out of it. Really don't want to be paying £90 for the next 12 months

Get this all the time. I work for vodafone and you can only downgrade after 9 months with us. Constantly get people ringing up after 6 months asking to downgrade because phones4u told them they can.

Moral of the story, phones4u are idiots. Try not to use them ever again.
