3 months GPRS, cheapest option

Hi,

I need to 'call' my laptop to retrieve data from it whilst it is being used to log data at a remote site. I want to do this over a 3 month period via GPRS. I have a USB GSM/GPRS modem that needs a SIM card.

Anyone know the cheapest option i.e provider, contract/PAYG to allow me to do this?

O2 Are doing data contracts and t-mobile do a 2gb a month contract for £20/month but its a 12month contract miniumum.

Your only option is gonna be p&g which costs like £1/MB.

Just spoke to a chap who's writing the software and asked how much data a month we're likely to have to transfer - he said only about a 100MB or so a month. I just laughed!

Thanks for the replies - I think a 12 month contract will be the most cost effective solution. Hmm maybe I'll get a new phone out of it
