Based on personal experience RMA'ing my Shield, and another thread on here about someone returning an FE card, it will probably take about 2-3 weeks to get your replacement.

That sucks, glad I swapped my 3080fe for an Evga from the rainforest now. At least rma with be a lot easier if needed.

Did the fe retailer even help of just pass the buck to Nvidia?

Passed me straight to NV

Although they hold all the risk with a chargeback or credit card claim so it's a risky business for them if I get annoyed with the process!
 
I thought your agreement/purchase was through them though, so they have liability for the first x number of days or something before they can then palm it off to the manufacturer, guessing this is no longer the case?!

I guess it makes no difference in the end since all they would do is send the card to Nvidia and then send the replacement to you. Probably cutting out some time by doing yourself but it’s still a pretty poor show.

Is that those trimmed versions so miners won't use it?
