30xx Series Founders Edition

It's not that easy - I've been on telegram 4 months now and still not managed to get a card. They are gone in seconds (except 3080ti/3090s). The telegram channel has 22,200 subscribers so thats a lot of people to compete against for maybe the 10 or so cards they have in stock

There are a lot more than that when they land, few thousand at least, transportation costs make it uneconomical to bring in anything other than numbers in the thousands at a time.

Many will be people who already got cards but just kept the app installed.
 
Drops historically have been tuesday and thursday 10am sometime a further drop at 2pm or 3pm can't mind, i didn't use the fe alert and managed to get a 3070 just being there at the right time.

Id say you got extremely lucky...
There is no schedule they stick to. Trying to work out and predict the next drop is like reading tea leaves.

I spent the first few months after launch randomly refreshing nvidia's page and various other retailers, hoping like most this would be a short lived thing. Never once got close.
Started using a discord alert server, and within a couple of months managed to net a CPU (5000's where hard to get for months if people remember), a PS5 and 3080.
Even with alerts, took many misses and failed checkouts before succeeding.

So to anybody still trying, get on a Discord / Telegram / Twitter alert site. Its not guaranteed by any stretch, but it vastly improves your chances.

Definitely +1 for discord. I know 4 people (including myself) who got FE cards, and it wasn't very hard and didn't take long. Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time (and having the funds of course - which not everyone has with the price inflation of these cards even at RRP).

Still in the group also factor in its not all UK even though I got the 3080 also friend got 3070 from the part alert Fe group on telegram did it all on mobile no need to be stuck front of a screen

i always wondered whetehr its best doing it on mobile or computer.. given my eye sight not being perfect, i expected computer to be better so i can do the picture capcha quicker.. or is the capcha skipped on phones?

I would also recommend install telegram for both pc and phone if on both for alert one of them randomly would get the alert slightly faster only sec or 2 not sure how important it is but could help
