I went with the Gelid Extreme pads, 2mm front and 3mm back.

Yes, my VRAM temps. went from running in the 100c’s into the 80c’s.

I was hitting 110c on vram with pads replaced its in the 80s
Gelid GP Extreme Thermal Pads 2mm, 80x40 for the die side , you dont have to do the back side uses GP Extreme 3.0mm 80x40 need 2 . I did mine twice one with back and one just the stock and only took off 2c for Vram with back pads replaced does need more effort I wouldnt bother all I did for the back side was this

I used thermal grizzly kryonaut only part I found tricky was the ribbon cables one of them is tricky and the led cable, my eyesight isnt what it used to be

interesting 3080TI still in stock at this time , tried to buy one ( I have a MSI 3080 suprim x which I think I can sell it for the value of 3080TI with no issues ) but it does not let me , transaction declined - I bought a 3070 last Dec from them before the OC'er came through with the MSI
It is obvious the demand for 3080TI is low, I wander if they will remove 1 card per customer rule soon
