320mb GTS or 512mb GT?

8800GT is faster will overclock more and will run games better at higher resolutions.

The 8800GTS 320mb is old tech now so they are being sold just under the price of a 8800GT.

8800GT is without a doubt the fastest card, even faster than the 8800GTS 640mb, and pretty darn close to the 8800GTX.

If your happy with the performance of the 320, then don't worry (it should be fine for that res), but be aware that most modern games with HDR and AA turned on will really need more than 320mb's that your card offers. 512mb realistically is the new minimum nowadays for any game under a year old (pretty much a sweeping statement there however).

Still... £65 sounds like a nice price to me :)

Agreed, i went from a 320mb GTS to the 8800 GT, absolutely destroyed it.

Using a 320MB card with unreal3, and works fine... at 1920x1200.

No AA, but 16xAF and it runs pretty flawlessly. Most other games about the same, and certainly lower res such as 1680 almost anything will run.

Is a GT better ? heck yes, but still - I don't want to give Nvidia money for a 8800 GT :P I will buy the new range ati or NV cards thanks :D (when they are released :()
