Working in a job where you can easily get covered in oil, the fail is to like the reverse. ;)

Anyway, I don't recall your e39 being perticularly light on the inside! - Another reason to bin it eh ? ;)

I make no secret of the fact that black leather with silver trim is both the trim found in my car *and* the most boring colour combo in the world, ever, with the exception of that awful grey they do.

That looks really nice. I'm impressed.

Got any exterior photos? NM, just seen the ad. Very nice, and the wheels suit it really well. Although it could do with a more modern steering wheel. That's literally the only thing that lets it down IMO.

Will get pics ASAP! Was going to give it a good wash/polish/hoover/leather treatment etc today but was hanging so hard, so didn't even leave the house! lol Will get some pics during the week. Very nice car to drive, the only issue is the drivers side door handle is stiff; seen a trick for adjusting this (alan key in the door) but that hasn't worked! So will need to get this sorted as it annoys me! lol

Platinum Extended + Piano Black trim = ultimate win

Still miss this a bit! lol[/QUOTE]

Nice. Was it a manual? - I bet you find the e46 a bit milder by comparison.

Yes, also a manual. Never owned an automatic car lol

Yeah, so far I think the E36 was 'quicker' but this E46 feels so much smoother and isn't exactly a slouch either. No idea what stock 0-60 times for either actually were, is there a big difference? E46 must weigh a tonne more! lol
