No, his 328i was an M52B28 whereas his 328Ci has an M52TUB28 with Dual VANOS.

This.

E46 has Twin VANOS and I believe has a couple more HP and lb/ft. Anybody know stock 0-60 times?

Also, the engine in the E46 is ultra quiet. Sat in the cabin I wasn't even sure if it was running! lol So, so quiet its crazy!

Sat on the drive....

:)

Looks very nice and original.

However if it were mine to keep I'd say that it needs de-Tango'd! And bigger dishier rims.

Looks lovely mate, wouldn't mind owning that myself :)

What are the performance figures for these?

Haha I'll admit clear indicators would look rather nice. I'll see how it goes!

Also, at least these wheels have some dish!

My list of things to do:
1) Sort out drivers side exterior handle - very stiff, have to give it a little tug to get the door open.
2) Replace throttle cable - throttle pedal is quite stiff, its as if the first initial 'push' is hard but then its fine. Maybe just needs some lubing *wahay!*
3) Refurb the wheels - slightly curbed with the front passenger side quite badly curbed.
4) MAYBE - clear indicators :p

And that's all I can think of for now! You were right as well, 2 people at work were like "Corr that's well nice! How much are they (the company) paying you! etc" Hehe

This one is amazing, isnt it? I STILL get this despite the fact my car is now 8 years old. It baffles the mind, as the people saying it all drive nearly new hatchbacks worth several times the value of my car.

Just looked these up, smidge under 200bhp. 6.8 to 60. Cool :)

*wonders what running costs are like*

1) I've had 2 E46 Coupes and 1 Cab of my own and they were all stiff.

2) I was gonna say it's prob because you're not used to a floor hinged accelerator then it entered my mind that you had a E36, so ignore this one!

3) Get some dish......

4) Get some clears! - Front ones came as standard on cars with xenons, rear ones will be tinted ones.

6.8 for the E46? Not bad, feels nippy!

This is beyond stiff, have to give it a quick pull to get the door open. I read that its a common problem and you can adjust the handle, but tried this with no luck!

Ha yeah I'm used to a floor hinged pedal; this is definitely stiff for some reason or other. Its not an issue for day to day use, just a little niggle I'd like sorted out.

You get some dish! :p

I will have a look! lol

I had a really stiff throttle on my e46 323 and I replaced the cable was a lot better.

In money not quality and style, your car is still a premium car in mint condition, age cant take that away, and in fact it starts working in reverse once it hits a certain age.

I dont feel in any way bad parking either of my Jags next to a new one.

I would leave those lights for some reason, i think that looks great original.

I'd have to agree. Oxford Green with beige leather and orange indicators is a classic. Not sure white'd suit it tbh.

Can't believe how cheap this is for something in what appears to be great condition. Enjoy it :)
Much better than an X-Type ;)
