Have you checked it isn't kinked at any point? Likely that the ones and zeroes getting stuck is degrading your image quality.

Does the HDMI cable have an Apple Logo on it?

If it doesnt then its not worth it and you should get your money back.

If it does then I have heard Apple and Samsung dont get along so you should get a refund for your TV instead and buy an Ipad

I use the same cable but mine was only £1 in Tesco.
Make sure the 360 is set to 1080p

My new Samsung TV has a Game mode you can switch on, it switches off the image processor in the TV so the image is not processed twice by the xbox and the TV.

As above "game mode" on the TV and 1080p setting on the xbox display settings.

And for christ sakes take back that £100 HDMI cable and buy 100x £1 ones ...
