Hey...

I probablly going to buy a game or 2 today, and am trying to decide out of:

Tomb Raider (I rented it, and then had to take it back before I had a chance to finish it) and GRAW. I tried it around a friends house, and was not to sure about it, playing the demo made me like it a bit more though. I can get both of those for 50 pounds total second hand.

OR:

Battlefield 2 MC. I have to admit I play the demo quite a bit, but obviously I dont know if the other maps are good/bad?

Help :(

TR and GRAW for me, both excellent games :)

I would probably agree.
BF2 is an excelent game too though but with GRAW you get a great singleplayer and a good multiplayer with it, BF2MC has a single player, but nowhere near as good as GRAW's
And BF2 has a tendancy to end up on the same 3 maps all the time a lot of the time :(

TR and GRAW for me too.

TR is good fun with interesting missions, whereas GRAW gives you a multiplayer option as well as a decent single player campaign.

I own all 3 and I'd recommend GRAW and BF2 because TR is far too short to fork out for :(

TBH, I was going to get Both Graw and TR second hand, I can get TR for 20 second hand. I wanted to complete the rest of the game, since I am about half - 3 quaters thru it. Then I could complete it on hard mode and so on, or is that not worth it?

Does OCUK still have a lot of people that play GRAW on a regular basis? how about BF2?

*EDIT*

Graw would cost me 30 second hand.

GR:AW is my favourite 360 game so far. TR looked pretty decent from the demo, but BF2 appeared pretty mediocre compared to the PC version.

I'd go with GR:AW and TR. :)

You can get GRAW region free for under £22 here:

If I was you I would go for BF2, I've racked up hours upon hours gameplay online on it and it hasn't bored me yet.

Unfortunately I can't find any offers for BF2

EDIT:Tomb raider is also available at the same price:

BF2:MC gets a big thumbs up from me. I found easier to pick up and play than GRAW (which although being a good game, I couldnt' never get the hang of).

Can't stand TR (find it dull and reptative)

BF2 and TR.

BF2 because it has a great single player aspect and the multiplayer is fast, rock solid and good fun.

Tombraider because it's just a good adenture game. Graphics aren't up to scratch, nothing particular shines, but just a good game to play.

Sorry, still say GR:AW is vastly overrated.

Play asia...

How does that work then? I just plop in my card number like most online stores obviously, but does it being delivered cost anything extra to the UK, and lastly what about import tax? or do they class it as a low cost gift?

I have not imported a game before and a bit unsure!

Delivery to the UK takes it to about £25. You dont get hit with tax as far as I'm aware.

Well, I just came back from the town, and I purchased *drum roll*

GRAW and BF2 :)

Should have got TR instead of BF, played it through (doesnt take long even for 100%) and then sell/swap it for BF.

You'll enjoy your choices anyway :)

One thing to mention though, if you're not a tactical shooter entheusiast then you may find GRAW a bit taxing, not difficult, just taxing. In parts it's fun but at other times it can be extremely slow paced and you're forced to sneak around (or die) which makes missions last even longer. I also find it a bit repetative.

However, if you are a tactical-shooter-guy then GRAW is a quality game.
