Can someone reconend me a 37/40 Inch TV for my room please? would like in the region of £300-£400 if thats possible, but dont want to just waste my money on a poor quality image and would rather suffice on a 32 than go 37/40 if needs be. willing to take it up to £550 if I buy from a bnpl finance option, but would prefer to go the cash option.

Ive been looking at the Samsung LE40B551A 40", or even the LG 42LH3000 42" both at only 50hz refresh rate, will that be any good?

Im thinking of downscalling to the 37" option and getting something along the lines of the LG 37LH5000, or even the 37LH4000 as unless that 100hz would be worth the extra £30?

Can someone shed some light into all of this, I havent bought a TV in quite some years, and all the new stuff confuses me!

p.s i know all my quotes ect were from my top range budget, but I cant help but think Im only going to get a 32 with the cash option

Think im going to get the Samsung LE40B550. Im abit worried though when trusted reviews go on about black levels ect.. Are they just not pickey because they look at high quality Tv's as a benchmark? I want noticable and decent quality but I'm not that fussed that it wont the razor sharp very high qulity imaging, I just dont want it dull.

You will need to remove the links- and maybe even the name of the review site- not 100% about that.

Didn't they praise it's black levels for a budget LCD TV? IIRC they also voted it the best TV for £1000 for 2009.

The Sony Centre (can I say that?) had an awesome deal on the KDL-37S5500 - 37" Bravia: £439 with a 5 year warranty.

My girlfriend was looking for a 32" around the £350-400 and for the extra few pennies it was a no-brainer.

I'm not sure if the deal will still be on but it's worth a look.
