I have no other system capable, I will try the two separate cables at some point, looking at just buying a 7700xt and ebaying the 3080 as spares and repairs.

Indeed, 7 Days to Die is still 7 days to die but yes so far it handles everything like a champ. Hopefully I can either find a repair place online or just get some money back from ebaying the 3080.
