Are you using a adaptor cable or a custom 12 pin cable for the 3080 and was wondering if that may be the problem.
An GTX 660 or even 670 wouldn’t require as much wattage as a 3080 so a faulty power cable wouldn’t show up as easily, especially in general use.
It does sound like the 3080 is dead though since it’s not POSTING and that indicates that if the connector was faulty, the GTX 660 wouldn’t work either.
