3Dmark06 15k, possible on q6600 + 8800GTX ??

im aiming for 15k on my q6600 with 1 single 8800GTX.

max i got was 14.4k with q6600 at 3.7Ghz, GTX at 648/1566/2000, closed sidebar, ended all non-MS services.

any help in getting it pass 15k? or is it not possible with Vista 64bit and a single GTX?

Yeah, try XP and you will probably get 15k no problem.

you could squeeze another 1000 points out of xp,i would have thought you would have a higher score though with a single gt i got 15k cpu at 3.42ghz 17k with 2 gpu's all on vista 32bit,dont know if vista 64bit would effect it any more than 32bit though.

yep vista 32bit,only things that have been changed is cpu oc'd to 3.42ghz and gpu oc'd to 650 1800 999.

Yep, must be Vista killing your score, I've managed 15021 with my quad @ 3.55 and GTX @ 630/1555/1050 which are much lower clocks than yours.

i just wanted to know if it's possible....... seems like the answer is NO for Vista, YES for XP.

by the way, i got to 3.75Ghz, benchmarked, but the submit button won't work, because i ended ALL Vista's services. i do have a *.3dr file saved. anyway to open it and re-submit it?
