Guys

I've been tasked to find a good 3G router that can take a 3G card or SIM (I suppose) and then access the Internet from it?

I have no experience of these unit but I hoping someone on may have, and can point me in the right direction?

Cost = anything up to £500

Many thanks

But are they any good?

Have you used one?

I always found Zyxel kit a bit flakey at times, I'll have a browse though ;)

Any more? :)

You'd be better off simply getting a 3G PCMCIA adapter people use with their laptops and building a router out of that.

Or Vodafone have a USB modem on offer.

Thats quite a messy solution as the laptop would need to be on all the time, and the Vodafone data tarrifs are also pretty poor when compared to the T-Mobile offerings.

T-Mobile also offer USB HSDPA modems which will perform much better than Vodafones 3G ones.
