I bet it runs crisis on lowest settings
Looks like the chair from '40-year-old virgin', just saying...
BTW just so you know, adding extra cards does not add extra memory, each card must hold a duplicate copy of the data in the first.
3x2GB cards in crossfire would be 2GB total.
Only if you're sitting ridiculously close. By your logic nobody would ever use a projector for anything. Ask yourself how close you'd actually want to sit to that large a screen and then compare it to the below and consider whether the resolution difference would be perceptible:1920x1080 on huge area looks like dogcrap compared to this rez 7680x1600 or 4800x2560 before adding bezel correction. In the same way as 1650x1080 look better on 20" than 22" rez has to keep up with size.
With your resoning i could play on a console and projector and get away even cheaper if you dont care about IQ or how it looks.

I'm not saying it's not a nice set-up, just that I don't understand why a projector wouldn't be a nicer (bezel free) solution.

If it did we wouldnt have any system ram left in 32bit windows
Damn that looks awesome. I think the bezels would annoy me too until I got used to it. Good work, very helpful.
Nice setup, not sure i could get used to the bezels in portrait mode.
Have used a 3 monitor setup before in standard mode which after a while you don't even notice as the main action is all on the middle screen.
Guess 3x30 in standard position would be too wide. Nice work!
Ya, 3x 30" in landscape was just crazy. So wide there was tons of wasted space out on the sides I didn't even care about.
That's why I didn't go 3x30 as i just knew it it was to much to view.
Its just a pity that NV nor ATI can do PLP 20-30-20 because 4960x1600 is really perfect.
Ya for widescreen, 20/30/20 would be the sweet spot. I am sure there are some pretty tough technical reasons why they haven't accomplished that though.
