3x74g Raptors and 2xSamsung F4's in raid 0 and a SSD

I'm going to be adding a OCZ Vertex 2 SSD to my system as an OS drive.

The setup it will be added to is as follows

ABit Quad GT Pro with i think a ICH8R controller

3x74g Raptors In Raid 0 which will be used for games and programs.
2x320g Samsung F4's in raid 0 for temporary storage.

Should i be concerned that the controller will be in RAID mode and not AHCI mode when i install the SSD?

Any advice appreciated.
 
I'd like to know this also , mine's a 650i nvidia chipset and i'd like to have 2XSamsung F3 1TB in raid and a SSD as my Boot Drive.

Will i also need to format to add the two drives raid for windows 7?
