Hello all,

Just had a hell of a morning, I needed to get to Victoria station to the passport office for my passport renewal. I planned it as - Sheffield straight through to Liverpool street, circle line to victoria, how wrong was I?!

No trains going from Shenfield so I had to get the replacement bus service to Gidea Park, then an all stopper to Liverpool st, then the District Line to Oxford Circus and Victoria Line to Victoria due to the circle line being shut

Anyway, passport is done and now I have 4 hours to kill whilst I wait for it to be made. I'm currently in victoria station garfunkels about to indulge on a "breakfast"

So, suggestions on something to do? I've already had an epiphany btw :p

Cheers!

Stroll up past Buckingham Palace, laugh at all the tourists, realise you're one of them, walk on, and have a plesant walk in Green Park? Or instead of Green Park, walk through St. James's Park to Trafalgar Sq. and then up to Covent Garden? There's a great Falafel place in Covent Garden.

Play slippery slip slip on the floor (my only memories of being in Victoria station are running for my connecting train to Chester and slipping on my ass on the floor).

Don't you have your camera with you? Get snapping boyo!

Museum you say? I'll check it out :)

I'm not sure what is more annoying out of these 3 things:

1. The fact that I'm going to pay a small fortune for a below average breakfast (which didn't include beans!)

2. I have my iPhone here and forgot my headphones

3. There's a screaming American brat sitting behind me complaining about how the sausage isn't cooked like aunt bethel does it!!

Ah, London :D

I wish I did :( but due to issues at home I've had to store all valubles away from home, that includes £1000 worth of photography equipment. Otherwise I agree, it's a perfect opportunity for some snapping. :)

not a bad idea, its been a while since I've been up that way! :)

I always find "people watching" interesting from one of those bars up on the balcony. Was out on a date a while back, about to head home and we watched this couple chewing each other's faces off bwloe us... they disappeared for about 20 mins then came back all disshevelled, and much calmer  Misuse of public toilets? ;)

4 hours to nothing?! sounds like heaven to me, I would get a coffee buy a book and just sit. When that became to much I would just people watch. The only time I have 4 hours to do nothing is when I'm asleep!

Casuse some mayhem?

Start a rumour around the tourists outside Buckingham palace that some one has a bomb in their bag...?

Do you realise how stupid that comment is? Joking or otherwise, this type of thing doesn't go down well in London and the slightest hint about a bomb will cause disruption to potentially millions of people.

Are you really that stupid?
