4 new Sega titles - Condemned 2 confirmed! (PS3 too)

Sega have announced four new next-gen titles at a press event today. Chief amongst them is Condemned 2: Bloodshot. Releasing in early 2008 on 360 and PS3, the sequel to the 360 launch title will feature an all new combat system and fighting has been reworked. It will also feature multiplayer which was absent from the original.

Next up is Universe at War: Earth Assault a previously announced PC title which is now coming to Xbox 360. Releasing at the start of 2008 on the 360, it's a sci-fi RTS in which multiple alien factors have descended on Earth in an attempt to take it over. The controls have been re-built from the ground up for the 360 version.

Last up for the 360 is Happy Tree Friends False Alarm, an Xbox Live Arcade title based on the cartoon/web shorts. You'll play as Flippy, Handy, and Lumpy as you attempt to save other Happy Tree Friends from life-threatening disasters. It's due out towards the end of the year.

Last, but by no means least, is the announcement of a port of Sega's 2004 Arcade game Ghost Squad. The game will obviously attempt to emulate the arcade light gun experience at home. The Wiimote will also be used for some other things which haven't yet been specified. Ghost Squad will feature up to four player mulitplayer fun.

Yep fantastic story line, and it will make you jump many a time with the lights off, highly recommended.

Condemned is rather enjoyable tbh the only complaint i had about the game was the sound boxes for things you hit was awfull. But the voice acting was superb (Guy from Alias was the main dude) and the story was great too. This is one of the only games i have ever kinda felt like i was participating in a movie, and a bloody scary one at that :p

lol a few parts actually, one time when somebody jumped out of a locker on me and another were I went to look over a balcony and something jumped up at me, omg :eek:


Freaky part so far is being in the department store with all those dolls watching me.

I think condemned would rock on the Wii.
I remember when i was playing it when you are trying to smack something pulling the trigger, almost throwing the controller to get them away lol
 
i'd have to agree with the locker bit when you taking pictures dont remember the balcony bit but the shop bit was screwed up did anyone else find the last be bit easy though?

I haven't finished Condemned 1 yet though, can't seem to do the very final boss level. Top game, love it.
 
I thought Condemned was fantastic. I look forward to playing the sequel.

Excellent news. I think Condemned is one of the best games I've played ever. I've never jumped so many times in my life. Really looking forward to the sequel.
 
Awesome. Condemned was my favourite 360 release title and, imo at least, still up there with the best on the console. Well worthy of a sequel. Looking forward to it. :)

Interesting, what made you hate it? Serious question, no funny business. :)

Personally I thought it was superb and on a par with PGR as the best launch title.
 
Have to say mention of a multiplayer mode is thought provoking.

The thought of hitting some of you guys in the face with a shovel is strangely appealing ;)
