Hi,
my second pair of this ocz reaper pc2-9200 arrived today.
I had 2gb running at 1200mhz 5-5-5-18-2T.
So I though that all I have to do is put the RAM in and away we go. but no.
It would not boot, so I played around altering the settings a bit (keeping well within the boundries) but all I could get it to boot on was 667mhz, which it says was default, as i reset the "FSB & memory config" in the BIOS to defaults.

Note: I tried running my original memory on 1000Mhz 5-5-5-18 2T and it booted. I then replaced it with my new memory but it failed to post.

Currently I have 4gb in at 667mhz, the cpu is now at default clock speeds also

CPU: q6600
Memory: OCZ Reaper HPC pc2-9200
Mobo: EVGA 680i

Any ideas?

I assumed the same myself. Had 2gb working at 1200mhz 2.2v so bought another 2gb. They wouldn't do 1200mhz anymore. tried both sets in both ram slots and they all did 1200mhz no problem. Together the best i got was 'just' above stock at 1154mhz. I was disappointed. Had some reaper 1066 modules as well and got them to around 1130mhz (4x1gb) making the 9200 sets a bit pointless. Can't say i had any failing to post problems though. That's a mystery to me. You tried running memtest on the new sticks, check they're not faulty?
