420W PSU - enough for a 7900GX2/7950GX2?

I was wondering, is it possible that a Hiperpower 420W could power one of the cards? Its specifications are somewhat lower that those recommended by Nvidia, but I was wondering whether I might just get away with it. I don't have much running in my pc (see sig below); I'm also running watercooling on the CPU, but this is powered directly from the mains, so it doesn't make any demands on the PSU.

If I were to try it and the PSU wasn't up to it, could any damage result or would the system just not power up or be unstable?

I would be inclined to agree..

I would also be inclined to ask Úlfhednar if you finally decided to upgrade your X1800XT? :p

Not decided yet. I'm either buying an X1800XT to replace the one I killed or an X1900XT. :) Depends on funds etc.
