Happy days, wife is treating me to a new monitor.

I've currently got a Asus pg279q which is nice but I want a bigger monitor.

144hz is fast enough for me and 1440p is fine as well. No major rush to buy if something is on way soon?

What should I get or is that budget a bit low?

    Thanks

Edit: forgot to mention. I have a 1080ti and no plans to upgrade until middle of next year.

Does look good. Just worried I won't like the ultra wide. With the (trying to think of a word for this virus) going on forever, I can't get to a shop and give it a test run to see if I like it, so I'm thinking play it safe?

Last wide screen I used was a 49" at the arcade club in bury. Was a bit much, but I was very drink and not interested in the game that was on it either.

How do TVs look look these days? Neither my front room or my bedroom TV are new. The bedroom TV is awful for gaming.its very old now
