Looking at making a few upgrades to the dell precision 370 workstation i picked up very cheap at an office closure.
Spec is P4 3.00GHz, 2GB RAM, 80GB SATA1 + 250GB SATA2, NEC DVDRW, DELL DVD CWRW, Nvidia Quadro FX 1300 128Mb PCI-E.

Looking to upgrade to a Nvidia 79 series Gcard so would imagine the standard power supply could do with an upgrade. I believe it's 350w, the standard case seems nicely laid out with good cooling. Does anyone know of any 450w or higher power supplies that will fit??

You might well be OK with a 7900 series card, particularly the GS, on your current PSU. The mid-range NVidia cards are not too power hungry.

well it came with the 2gb RAM, P4 3.00GHz, 80GB SATA, Quadro FX 1300, 17inch TFT + DVD for.......................£50!!!

I know its ridiculous, basically my old company closed down the uk office so being in charge of their IT equipment I made sure I had my name down for the best kit. Also got a Dell widescreen laptop for the same price!! :D

Wow dude I'm jealous! I saw just the case for one of these on ebay and it was only a tenner but the motherboard was going for like £75 :(
