About to pull the trigger on a new bundle and wondered what opinions are now coffee lake has been around for a little while. Some benchmarks are incredible while others say there's not much in it?
I game at 3440x1440 100hz using a 1080ti.

I often feel the 4770k is holding me back and it's not an amazing overclocker. Best is 4.2 stable.

It was Battlefield 1 that I noticed most in 64 player maps. I did not want to feel restricted in my gaming and don't mind spending the money to have the best experience. Also, I got a good price on selling my 4770k bundle so it wasnt too painful to upgrade in the end.

So I purchased a z370 Aorus Gaming 7 and an 8600k Cpu.

Straight away I tested the overclock potential and decided that 4.7Ghz was a good place to jump in. Well the CPU took 4.7 no problem at all and it was chugging away nicely at 50-55 degrees. WIN!

Also, BF1 now uses about 50% cpu rather than 90-100% of the 4770K so all in all a very worthy upgrade and I am very happy. Its also a LOT cooler than the 4770k. :)
