changed them to 8-8-8-20-1 as thats what the bios suggested they should be. does that seem about as low as i can go?
ok kool, well so far everything seems stable with these settings, so will see how it goes.
are there any other settings i could do with tweaking? cant seem to get it stable if i lower the vcore to 1.281v, havent tried 1.28* or 1.29v yet though.
back up to 1.300v vcore.
use memtest86+ to make sure the ram is ok and OCCT for the cpu.

yeah i am reasonably happy with it, would prefer to get the temps down a degree or 2 but cant complain. have only done an 8.5hours OCCT run on it, and out of that 8 hours probably ony 50-60% of it it was on the highest temp, most of the time it was 71-73deg.
the thing im worried about is the clock drive settings and QPI stuff, not sure if i can tighten them up to get better use out of the 4GHz clock.

been using it on 4GHz for a few days now without issues, just the ram i have altered today. doing some benchmarks now to see how it compairs.
